Pronounced WAH ❀ HEE ❀ NEH, Wahine is an homage to the people of Hawaii, especially its women. Pulling inspiration from Hawaii’s surf and skate culture, the brand is a depiction of the Hawaiian lifestyle.
Founded by Evan Mock of the Oahu North shore, Honolulu, and co-founded by Donté McGuine of New York, Mock wants to tell the story of his upbringing by creating this brand for everyone to share and celebrate in the culture and influence of Hawaii.
Professional skateboarder, model, artist, designer, photographer, and actor Evan Mock has captured the attention of the world with his unique style and talent. Born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, Mock began skateboarding at 12, and is now primarily based in New York City.
Most recently, Evan starred on HBO Max’s hit series GOSSIP GIRL as Akeno ‘Aki’ Menzies, who is exploring his sexuality as he navigates high school and his newfound feelings.
